I am a research scientist at JHU/APL. My research interests include statistical and symbolic artificial intelligence applied to security-related problems, including cybersecurity and insider risk. More recently, I’ve studied problems related to influence, including modeling the spread of narratives, online community health, the validity of scientific claims, and the role of international trade in global influence. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland advised by Prof. Lise Getoor.
